This page is simply showing the assembly of the deck and frame as well as the Cannon & Co. sub-base, nose
and cab.

Something you may want to take note of here. The truck side frames are not Atlas. Atlas side frames leave little
to be desired. I guess they can be used as stand ins, but really fail the model horribly. Better replacements are
the Stuart GP side frames, but better yet by far are the excellent Athearn side frames. On a challenge by Andy
Harman, I developed a way to mount Athearn side frames to the Atlas gear towers. The result is what you see
below.

Earlier I mentioned I had to add a 0.030" sheet of styrene to the bolster pad. This is why I had to do that. The
Atlas side frames are about 0.030" shorter in height than the Athearn frames. Also what compounded the issue
was that my frame rail hung down below the Atlas frame about 0.015" so I needed to do something to get the
top of the truck side frame to clear the frame. As I stated before, the addition of the 0.030" sheet on the bolster
did not effect at all the correct deck height or coupelr centerline. Go figure!

I still ned to add teh doors to the Cannon cab.
The grab irons are by Cal Scale
The next three photos are nothing special, just some closer detail shots moving from the back to the front.
OK, now it is time for the hood construction and assembly.
