The deck/ sill unit is the stock Atlas part. I chose to leave the steps alone. I just did not feel like cutting all that
out. We all make compromises in modeling. I cut the battery boxes off as well as the MU electrical outlet. This
was replaced with the proper type outlet from Details Associates. You can see in these photos the way I built up
the frame rail behind the step well and added the pilot support tube. The bell is a Kato bell, the air reservoirs
are by Cannon & Co. with the plumbing and other details from Details West. The MU hoses are also Details
West. The coupler lift bar is custom made.

Take notice of the underside of the drop step. You will not see any mold release pins. It is a lot of tedious work,
but worth the effort to clean these up.
