As you can see this is an etched part. It is etched from 0.004" brass. The fuel/ water plates, sight glass and
emergency fuel cutoff plate were designed from EMD drawings. The little blank plate with holes is a bolt
head cutoff template for over the sight glass. This is so if I wanted to have bolt heads around the sight
glass, I could drill the dimples out on the sight glass with a 0.0063" drill bit, insert 0.006" wire and then slip
this plate over them and nip off the wire. The bolt heads would stick up 0.002". That would not be correct
though because the plates are secured with counter sink screws and the heads are flush with the face of
the plate. The dimples suffice to represent the screws.
