Classic EMD's, Page 10
The model is basically complete. I only need to install the couplers which will be done in a few
minutes. The model has a Tsunami decoder with front and rear lights. It sounds really nice. My good
friend Chris Zygmunt will fine tune the sound for me and then I can call it 100% complete. The model
also has a complete cab interior with control stand, heaters, chairs, front wall and back wall. My
camera broke before I could take pictures and then wouldn't you know it, after I installed the cab
and all, the camera fixed itself!
One very important tip when you get started on weathering. I highly recommend that before you
start each modeling session, you wash your hands thoroughly like a surgeon. When weathering
with pigments and oils, it is VERY easy to imprint finger prints.
I am very pleased with how this model turned out and now it is time to get going on the GP30.
